Mountain Coffee @ Zoo

Just a short drive from Ban Chang, Mountain Coffee @ Zoo is a large coffee shop & cafe, with a petting zoo. Visitors can sit and enjoy a drink or food whilst looking out over the petting zoo, or pay to go into the petting zoo area. The entrance fee for the zoo is 90 baht per person (Free for small children). The place can get very busy at weekends and on public holidays. Mountain coffee at zoo is a fun inexpensive afternoon out for families with younger children.

Cafe - Mountain coffee @ Zoo

The cafe and coffee shop serves the usual coffee and fruit drinks found in most Thai coffee shops, as well as a range of cakes and desserts. The food from the menu in the cafe consists of a mix of Thai and Western food, such as pizzas and steak. Customers can enjoy their food and drink in the nicely decorated cafe or outside on the deck, overlooking the petting zoo.

The food at the cafe is reasonably priced and of good quality. Thai dishes over rice starting at about 50 baht and most western dishes starting at around 150-200 baht. The only downside at busy times is that the wait can be quite long.

Petting Zoo at Mountain Coffee

The petting zoo at Mountain Coffee, is not huge. It does however, have some fairly exotic animals. Customers can pay 50 baht for a basket containing a mixture of leaves, grass and milk, which are preferred by different animals.

The zoo is stocked with a various farm animals such as cows, sheep, water buffalo, and chickens. There are also a number of more exotic Giraffe, Zebra and Ostrich. Visitors can take their time walking around and feeding the various animals, children can take pony rides around the outside of the farm.
