Harborland is a large indoor children's soft play area situated on the 7th floor of Harbor Mall, Pattaya. Whilst the mall itself is fairly average, the play area is a must do for anyone with small children visiting Pattaya. Once you get your wrist bands and go through the magnetic locking gate, don't be surprised if you don't see your children again for several hours, or if like us, your children are young, expect to spend the next few hours crawling through tight spaces, climbing stairways designed for children and getting very sweaty (seriously, I think we had just as much fun as the kids did).
The huge play area consists of several areas for both older and younger children, a cafe and several private party rooms. The gigantic main play area is a giant maze, built over three levels and incorporates several slides, a pirate ship with foam ball cannons, a climbing wall, and a whole host of other things for the children to enjoy. In addition to its impressive size, Harborland is clean, well staffed and children's safety is a priority, which is not always the case at Thai attractions.
Before you get to the main multi-story soft play area, there is are several smaller areas that cater for children of differing ages:
- A smaller soft play area for under 3's
- A bike and roller blading track
- An assault course for older children
- Basketball Courts
The entry fee gets you three hours and the staff had no problem letting us go out for lunch and come back, as long as we kept our ticket and wrist bands. Weekends can be extremely busy, however, as long as the Thai Schools aren't on holiday it is usually fairly quiet on weekdays, if you arrive early enough you pretty much have a private giant play area.
